Man does putting together new furniture suck

Bought a nice bookcase at costco tonight. Thing is huge! 84x48x16. Weighs almost 200 pounds... boy that was a pain to get in the house, and then to put it together as well. It looks nice though. Cherry finish with glass and woodshelves at the top, wood shelves at the bottom, and 2 puck lights in the top of the cabinet. $200 at costco. Looks very similar to this one.

It is a lot of work trying to put it together. It takes a physical and mental toll on you. Plus, you're not really concerned about eating, all you want to do is build it as soon as possible.

I spent 8 or so hours a few years ago putting together a computer desk. Well I broke that desk trying to take it upstairs a couple of years ago.

Basically, don't take your furniture that you put together yourself upstairs without taking it apart first.
