I'm not afraid of heights or anything (make yearly skydiving trips and whatnot), but there's no way I would do that. Slips happen, and in this case, you'd have some time to think about that mistake on the way down.

lol and the scariest part is that it looked like they could barely do 3 pullups

It looked really windy...I doubt that helps.

They also hung for a long time, pullups aside. That's painful on the grip, especially cuz those bars they were hanging from looked pretty smooth.

yeah, and if you wear yourself out doing the pullups and can't pull yourself back up to the crane its game over your DEAD!

just a thought but if he were to wear himself out and can't pull himself up, it would freak him out, his body would start producing adrenaline(from fear of dying). And it would've been funny if he took that opportunity to do more pullups. :p

And then the adrenaline would make his palms sweat and he would lose his grip and fall and DIE! But really I would think the adrenaline would be shooting well before that point, personally for me I would probably have had a heart attack by that point.

judging from the video, he didn't look like he's afraid of heights, while adrenaline may be flowing, it's not due to fear of dying. I'm sure if he knew he wasn't able to get back up, more would be pumping through his system.

is that a parachute on his back or just a regular backpack? If it's a parachute i'll give him slightly higher marks for intelligence... just slightly though.

I didn't even think of that. I just thought "wtf is the backpack for?". It didn't look like a parachute, just a normal backpack.

The one guy had a backpack, maybe that's what it was?

ew. I bet he had sweaty palms.

nah. if he did, he would have been a helpless bodily flailing in the wind as it fell to its doom. ;)

hell, my palms were sweating just watching that. I was trying to figure out why my palms were sweaty.. and then I realized the entire time I was thinking "what if his palms were sweaty, and had no strength to pull himself back up?"

I think ol' Darwin already had the names written down just in case. Idiots. lol
