Corn tortilla has so much more flavor. Flour tortillas are for the gringos since it's bland and neutral in taste and texture. The only tacos flour tortilla is preferred and acceptable are fish and shrimp tacos. Corn can overpower delicate fish and shrimp. I'm in Los Cabos right now and I've lost count the number of fish and shrimp tacos for lunch I consumed this week. All on flour tortilla. But for all other meat tacos, give me corn.

It's the same as eating ketchup. If you like Ketchup, because you are a 12 year old, you will eat corn tortillas, it is as simple as this.

Even Taco Bell serves soft shell tacos. You seriously have no place that sells tacos or sells stuff to make tacos up there? I think you can get soft taco shells in all the brands (store, Old El Paso, Ortega). That was true when I lived in bumblefuck rural Midwest America too. Plus you know, just using tortillas.

Ok. I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt on the flour tortillas for pastor tacos since its origins are supposed to be from Middle Eastern immigrants in Mexico. But every place I’ve eaten pastor tacos in the US, Mexico, and Colombia have served it on corn tortillas. And since pastor tacos are my favorite, I pretty much eat it least once a week. Save the flour tortillas for burritos.
