Considering the Yankees have about 20+ WS title and the Redsox has none since 1918, I think is pretty much a given Yankee = better than the Redsox
Who was it that said "It's not braging if you can do it"? Well, it's not being cocky if you're honestly good. Jeter is certainly that.

Well if every team spent the same amount as the Yankees to buy their championships that wouldn't be the case.

Jeter was dating Mariah Carey a while back, I'd say that's good enough. Regarding his skill, he's pretty good, but he gets waaay too much publicity and his commercials suck.
Lol, no kidding. I heard that too. I've got to imagine that was probably the first time he got stoned like that.

I'm not specifically picking on you, but I hate the "buying championships" argument. There are many teams that spend loads of money on players and have very little success. In particular, no Red Sox fan should have a complaint about the Yankees payroll since the Red Sox have the 5th highest payroll in the majors at $104,873,607 (source: ESPN.com) Also notice that exactly 0 of the 3 teams between the Yankees and the Red Sox made the playoffs (and furthermore, I think only 1 of those teams had a winning record). However, the team with the 5th lowest payroll (Oakland) almost took out Boston in the ALDS. Large payroll != championship.
