How is that justice? They attempted to rob an older man who defended himself with a knife. He killed one of his attackers and ended up going to jail for murder. It's good that this Donald Johnson guy didn't do the time for the murder (since he didn't kill his accomplice), but why did they end up convicting the victim? Sounds like self defense to me.
similar case here in the UK
a old farmer, Tony martin found two scallies burgling his farm, bleak house in norfolk yet again, he had called police on previous occasion but they failed to do much about it.
well the next time they decided to go rob the old man, he shot one of them in the back with a shot gun, the other got away. the guy he killed, fred barras was only 16.
the other guy Brendan Fearon was wounded and i think he tried to sue or claim disability or something like that but was then snapped riding a bicycle and other energetic stuffs so yeah he got caught out again...once a crook always a crook.
the old man, tony, got life i think.
all he was doing was protecting his property because the police, the people he funds with his tax money, wouldnt.
