Good lord, does anyone else get really sick from antibiotics? My doctor feared I had cooties so I got some Cipro and Doxycyclene, it's kicking my arse. 🙁
 
Cipro is strong, so it isn't unsual to see side effects. I don't know anything about Doxycyclene.
 
I'm taking Cipro now for a prostate infection and I'm not having any problems with it.

Thank goodness for antibiotics. I can tell you that a prostate infection is no fun!
 
Why'd they give you two? I've only ever had to take one at a time.

Cipro and Doxycyclene are the two recommended antibiotics for Anthrax. Cipro made me so sick once I had to stop taking it. Doxycyclene is much easier for me to take and as an added bonus it clears up your acne.🙂

 
Daihrrea (sp?) is a common side effect of many antibiotics. The medicine kills normal flora of the intestine that normally help us with digestion, so you end up spending additional time in the throne room.
 
Yeah, it's pretty unpleasant. Plus, it enlarges when it's infected and pushes on your bladder so you have pee all the time.

Learned the hard way; had strep throat a few years back, doc gave me amoxicillin ... had to drag my ass to the hospital after about 12 hours on it. 'Twas baaad.
