i just read the article again and find no mention of sueing. they have complained about him not building his house to code and he even admits his house was a foot higher than what is allowed. there are other issues with his house, his excavating, but i don't see the neighbor's complaints as BS.Originally posted by: waggy

well considering the neighbors have been the ones sueing him for BS reasons i can't blame him.

Exactly. If the excavating is a concern, and a survey has already been done, they should not be complaining. If the house is a frigging foot over, I would not complain (and if he is right about the house settling below that, then stfu).

He didn't say the house was going to settle, he said that one the soil is laid around the house, the height of the house over the surrounding ground will be less.

I would normally side with the guy. THe soil has been tested before, the neighbors are being babies.
But the guy's action is uncalled for. He is clearly immature and incapable of reason. What a horrible attitude. How old is he??? I hope the neighbors win in the end and stop him from doing anything.
