Man Accused Of Chasing Police With Tractor

DES MOINES, Iowa -- A Manilla man is accused of chasing Crawford County deputies with his tractor.

Police said a Taser gun was used on Daniel Hinners and he was arrested Tuesday night.

The deputies were responding to a domestic abuse call at Hinners' home when he started chasing them on a large farm tractor.

Hinners exited the tractor after deputies fired several shots at the tires

This reminds me of that news story a few years ago where a guy got a bulldozer, covered the vulnerable portions with metal plating, and went on a rampage destroying a building and cars, and was also armed with a shotgun. I believe he finally ran out of gas and got killed in a shootout with the police.

They use calcium or antifreeze.
My turf tires are filled with antifreeze.
Antifreeze is preferred over calcium because calcium eats the wheels.

What about the guy that stole a tank and drove it down the freeway? Was shot in the head by police through the top hatch.

Granby Colorado. I drove through there a few weeks ago and the street still has the impressions of the track of that dozer.
