The website at www.anandtech.com contains elements from the site www.patriotmemory.com, which appears to host malware – software that can hurt your computer or otherwise operate without your consent. Just visiting a site that contains malware can infect your computer.

One of our ad providers apparently had an ad coming from a domain flagged by Google. There wasn't any malware, but Chrome and Firefox will flag it by association. The ads have been removed, so everything is back to normal.
