That isn't Chrome unique though. Those are pop-ups, social engineering, and 3rd party software attacks - the user just happened to be using Chrome. The only part that they could claim is "targeting" Chrome users is the spoofed warning webpage.

That said, Charlie Miller (Very well known hacker) once said that hacking Chrome would be an "absolute nightmare" to hack. Not to say that no one could, but there is a reason that it hasn't yet fallen at the Pwn2own contest.
