Doh, coulda had that instead of the G35. :(

Edit: For those who may be confused, as I was at first(and probably only I), This doesn't include the price of the car. ;)

The bad voices in my head want me to email them to see if they will do that to the Sky.

Ah, ok. I was wondering how it was cheaper than the base Solstice. That puts things in much more perspective. ;)

That is probably $18000 on top of the purchase price of the car, as in the cost of a conversion. Still, very sweet.

Edit: Nvm, guy after OP covered it.

The price still isn't bad at all. Hell, the engine alone is $6,400 plus tax.

yea, but you are only paying like 8 grand, i believe just the engine itself is about 10 grand.

Yeah, but it makes it high enough that I'm not tempted to impulse buy. :Q:laugh:

Still, would love to drive one of those at least once.

My boss had a Mallett Corvette. Huge brakes, Penske adjustable shocks with remote resevoirs, mini tubbed, built in cage. That thing was bad ass. He let me drive it a couple times - sounded like a Cup car wide open. Probably get smoked by a new Z06 though.

He finished 11th (out of 110 entries) in the Michelin Car and Driver One Lap. I think some kind of Mosler won - it was a couple years ago. Incidently the boys from Mallett entered their own car - was the same as my bosses but twin turbo. They blew it up going over 200mph at Texas World Speedway.

A Renntech Mercedes crashed there on the same day as well. Crashed HARD.

meh, I'd rather have said engine in an FD3, or FC3. (3rd and 2nd gen. Mazda RX-7, for the nubs)

I'd hope that Road & Track does a road test on it, because I want to see 0-60 and quarter mile times on that badboy!

And they'll put the Z06 motor in it if you want.

You'd have to be nuts to drop $60K on a Solstice but that would be an absolutely wicked little car.
