I accidentally mistyped my e-mail address during a Paypal transaction and it just so happens that the domain I typed is a malicious website that has been known about for quite some time now. The thing that worries me is that the e-mail didn't bounce, so I know they received it. On top of that, I have read from other people that this website accepts mistyped e-mail addresses.

The website is www(DOT)Gmai(DOT)com - It's missing the L in Gmail. I loaded up some security measures and went to the site and it brings you to a survey that locates your region and has a logo that resembles Google's logo to an almost copyright-infringement point. From what I read from other people, upon completion of this survey, you get bombarded by ads.

Should I be worried that my bank account has been compromised? It's a holiday and a weekend, so all of the banks are closed until Tuesday and I am unable to make any changes regarding my account.

What do you mean by a paypal transaction? What were you attempting to do with the e mail address? You gave someone the incorrect one for a transaction? You were trying to pay someone and typed the wrong one? What exactly happened here?

I was making a purchase for myself but I changed the e-mail address upon completing the transaction and I mistyped the e-mail.
