what makes you think it's the ports? maybe another component fails or the disk is corrupted... detailed specs (overclock, mem, etc.......)?

i have used 4 ide disks, they all fail, and no overclock.
i use bios 1007.004.
it boots almost to the windows screen and then it blue screens.

What did you do just before this problem arose? You have obviously recently updated your Bios to a Beta version, which could in itself cause problems. Also, it is possible you may have updated the nforce4 chipset drivers. At any rate, there have been problems with nvidia's IDE drivers - just use XP's drivers.
