so I was traveling 25 Mph, and started to accelerate to about 35, very light only up to 2-2.4k RPM then I felt a slight loss in power and RPM dropped to around 1.8k, then the Error Light " Malfunction Indicator Lamp" Came on. Also (this light can also be caused by the gas cap not being on tight enough), the light has came on and gone away by it's self a few times now. But now that I saw exactly happened to trigger that light I think it should be checked asap lol. But wanted to know what you guys think.

Misfire. Almost guaranteed.

Normally I'd get on you about not posting any details about the car itself (as requested in the sticky), but in this case the only real advice is to go to Auto Zone and use a code scanner to find out what is being reported.

Did it continue to run strangely after the light came on? I had a misfire in my truck, according to the scanner at autozone, and the motor had an idle that felt like a top fuel car. New plug wires and i was good to go.

well, the light went off again, and there were no error codes so that fails :( lol. Taking it into the dealer saying it might be a misfire to check all related things to that
