Male to Female ratio at your work?

In my department the ratio is 10 to 1. that's ten woment to 1 guy. Overall, with 700 employees it's about 70% women to men. Yup, it's a library folks, a big honkin library.

Suprisingly for a programming job, I work with more females than males about a 40/60 split f/m. Fortunately none of them are remotely good looking so I have not interest in fishing where I shouldn't be...dating someone who works for the same company is never a good idea.

It's ok being surrounded by chicks, but man they talk about the most useless drivel. 😉
Like how many Jenny Craig points this food is or like what's going on in Days of Our Lives...

Not one of them talks about hockey, cars, computers, video games or drinks beer! :Q

& to make things worst, the males that do work here are in their late 30-40's & I'm the only male here that's in their 20's. Ostracized comes to mind

That's my rant for the day.

Edit for grammar

I'm in the exact same situation as you. About a 5:1 ratio, I'm the youngest person in the company (24) and the few guys that are here are in their 30s and up.

my future job is 4 males : 1 female, but they have laws against such relationships, so I guess it doesn't matter much.
