U can also apply for a Lowes 10% "home mover" coupon via email. It's on their web-site. They'll send you a code in three days or so.

BTW, the orange borg will PM and give you 110% of the difference.

zippin44 - The 10% should help make this deal even better. But the 110% PM at the orange borg would mean you lose the Lowes $40 GC doesn't seem to even out.

cdrudge - That is a nice price for the Coleman. But it is clearance, I can't even find specs for it on Coleman's website. The Makita is a 1/2 inch chuck, has a spare battery, and probably has a better build quality.

I just wanted to let everyone know before the rebate ended on the 31st!

:)

I have used makitas, from the 7 volt to 9volt to 12volt and I am now looking to get this 18Volt, they are well built, I have had no problems with them. I like Makita better than the rebranded Blank and Decker DeWalt, to me it is still black and decker.

Well I bought the drill and used the 10% "new mover" coupon (thanks zippin44) but now I've got a problem. There are actually 2 UPCs, one on the cardboard cover around the carrying case and one on the front of the case it self. I'm really not sure which one to send in. I'm assuming that the one on the cardboard cover is the Lowe's UPC but wanted to ask you guys to be sure... anyone?

just a word on the colemans.

I own two makitia 12V a regular and a mforce(HI torque).
My Brother in law has a coleman 18V

I would take my regular makitia over the coleman any day of the week.

The coleman has very little power and is heavyer than my makitia. He was over this weekend helping me build a shed and he finally put the colemn away because it was so under powered.
