Making vcd from divx file?

Making vcd from divx file? i have a 701mb divx avi file and i want to make it into a vcd....i have nero but when i put it in there it would end up really way too big for my 700 meg cds...so is there a program that will autosplit the divx into two vcds? or is there a divx splitter?

Use this program, and go to VCD help to learn how to use it efficiently.


Just modify the bitrate (called xVCD) so you get the file size you want. I recommend using 2 CDs for a movie, or it'll look like utter crap.

TMPGEnc can split .mpg files.

I've just done this with good results.

If using two CD's use a CBR of around 1500 or so. The online calculator at vcdhelp comes close. That is a great site, it will tell you everything you need to know.
