Making the Wireless Home Network Connection in Windows XP Without a Router

Yap it works.

The Wireless client has to be in Ad-Hoc, so if used elsewhere, or you have a guest, you have to constantly change the Wireless configuration.

You have to keep the host computer On all the time, and you get a quirky system with Wireless that might not be able to do WPA.

The cheapest Wireless Router that you can fine would work better the two cards connecting between them.

But hey, you save $20.
