Well, I have the Dell Inspiron 8600 (unfortunately, with the GeForce FX Go 5650)... and I've got some questions (which are probably quite basic given my lack of familiarity with notebooks):

-What type of RAM do I purchase for the 8600? And how much money for how much memory is considered a 'good deal'?

-Is it possible to get my GPU upgraded to the Radeon 9600?

I think it was $90 shipped.
not bad at all! WOOO works great. Is it possible to upgrade your video card? Yes it is, but I do not know where they sell the 9600 part.
