driving a friend to airport and charge them $10. they are happy because instead of paying $20 to the cab, they pay me $10.

the airport is about 15 miles away and it takes about 12-15mins. spring break is great, all these friends are going home and need rides to the airport. third time to the airport in 2 days. 🙂

leaving again in 30mins.

exactly. I am so bored before my friend gets here from albany tonight or tomorrow, then we can go to chicago on monday.

friends - some are closer than others. of course I have no problem giving free ride to my closer friends.

so you taxi everyone around for free all the time? it's nowhere near free to drive and half the price of the alternative is not bad. i pay my friends gas when i ask them

are you actually making money asking that much, after you consider the cost of your time, gas and wear and tear on your car?

either way im sure the friends appreciate the lift instaed of taking a cab

i know i would have liked to get a lift for half price last night that's for sure

in fact i am paying a buddy tomorrow to drive me around a bit and check out some cars..

They only charge $20 for a 15 mile cab fare? Most places that would be $40 easy.
