Making SETI Client invisible without SETI Hide?

Would "SetiLog /h" work for you?

What exactly are you after? Making it invisible without an associated program? (I don't know any way.) Making it invisible at startup? (There was something about installing it as a service...)

I just want to be able to use seti spy without having to deal with the DOS box. Is there something you can do with DOS to do that? Or do I have to use SETI Hide? Thanks

SetiSpy has an option to let you hide the dos box. However I got it to work on one system but the other two refuse to hide it using setispy and I have no idea why. I would like to know a little more about hiding seti and setique myself. I tried the /h command to no avail and am currently running trayer to hide it.🙁 I have heard several people recommend this program to hide programs http://www.expocenter.com/hideit/. If you aren't already using a wu caching program you might check out SetiDriver it allows you to hide the dos box. I think you can also hide SetiDriver itself if you want to.🙂 I would like to know a little more about running seti as a service and what that actually means.

I'm surprised /h didn't work for you blade_47. Did you try making a shortcut to the CLI, and then adding the /h command? If you go into the shortcut properties it should look like

...CLI.exe" /h

You can also use the /h switch with SETILog, but I don't remember how...but it's not complicated. Check out the SETILog page at SETILog

Sukhoi, I tried it in the shortcut but for some reason I couldn't get it to work. But neither would the setispy hide.😕 Sure wish I could get it to hide so I wouldn't have to run Trayer. I just hate having another program running.🙁
