I overclocked a Radeon LE for a friend and tweaked the registry just as stated in the article here on anandtech. I have one problem though. Every time I restart, the Overclocking goes away. When i got the card, the registry values that were to be added were alredy there. The only indication that the card was a radeon LE was the physical layout and the clock speed. I want to make the Overclocking permanent, but as I stated above, when I restart, the setting all go back to the default. how can I make them Permanent? I need an Answer ASAP! Thanks!

I heard you can flash them with a version of the normal ddr bios, not sure of the proceedure but I imagine that would make it perm.

yeah flashing is the answer. go over to rage3d.com forums, they have several threads on that topic. appanrently its easy to do and pretty much foolproof.

Or you could get Windows to load your tweak program on startup. Flashing will mean that you'll get a 166/166 clock - getting your tweaker to load on startup gives you whatever clock speed was last loaded into the tweaker.

i use the radeon tweaker and the bios flash. the tweaker loads w/ windows in the backgroud, the only way i know its even open is by checking my running programs in jammer. so get the radeon tweaker, i'm not sure where, do a quick search for it and u'll find it.

Thanks guys! I am sorry it took me so long to reply, My home computer had a fried MOBO that is out on RMA at the moment, So I have been writing from my friends computer. I'll give your suggestions a try. I think I will get a tweaker to load with windows. I have the clock set at 183, just like the retail version of the 64MB radeon. one questin though, Should I update to the newest drivers? or just leave the ones I got when i installed it?
