Making POLLS more obvious (it needs doing ;)

I think these polls are a great idea, but I think a lot of users might not realise that they have to click the icon in order to take part correctly (i.e they might just write their answer in the thread).

Although I realise that everyone who creates a poll could put something along the lines of "Click the little icon to take part", many people probably won't bother to type that. So how about if in every poll thread, there is an automatic message at the top, saying something like "This thread is a poll, to cast your vote click the icon blah blah". And perhaps even something similar to what we have in the locked threads wherby the 'locked thread' icon appears next to each post??? Not sure.

Also - the poll icon doesn't have an alt tag ;)

We will put an alt tag in, other than that users have to RTFM :) which is in progress now. The new help manual will be up soon.

ALT Tag in.

Zuni...

Love the poll feature, but one thing I'd suggest: Delay the actual thread creation until after you've finished building the poll. If you spend 10 minutes building your poll, your thread has been sitting there for 10 minutes referencing a poll that doesn't exist yet.

[EDIT]One more thing... Is there any way to make it so that a vote in the poll counts the same as a reply? Otherwise, people could be responding to it but it will slip right off the page.[/EDIT]

Minor detail(s), but kind of annoying.

Other than that, the polls kick ass!
