Making own computer case

So, I have a MicroATX system currently in a gigantic Antec server case. I am going to downsize because that case is a beast to carry and takes up a ton of space. I am thinking of putting the components into some kind of a small tupperware or cardboard case (with adequate ventilation/fan spots cutout). The cost needs to be less than like $50 (because I find case prices to be a ripoff).

The main components are:
Pentium E5300 (with a high tower cooler)
Seasonic X650
Radeon 4830 (with giant passive cooler Accelero S1 Rev2, but needs airflow over it)
3.5" hard drive

Any ideas to go about this? How much is it to build a small plexiglass case? One of the main concerns I have is about heat and flammability.

I don't know about tupperware but if you google cardboard computer case I'm sure you'd hit pay dirt. Enough of those home made things have been done over the years and posted online in various forums and even youtube.

Material and hardware to build a decent case, DIY will cost more than $50.
Concerns about heat? flamability? Nothing in a pc runs hot enough to worry about normally but failures are always possible.
I did a search on newegg and came up with 68 possibilities under $50.

With a little modding I'm sure you would find something acceptable for your needs.

edit- my link didn't translate well in anands re-direct. Use the power search, you'll find a wide array of choices.

Microcenter has crappy pc cases for $15-20. If you want to build your own to save money you're making a mistake unless you have a lot of machinery and materials. If you dont, shipping alone will probably take more than half the budget nevermind the other costs.
