Wowowow! :Q

I'm getting really excited now. Primarily because unlike so many games in the past I know this one will not disappoint and the anticipation shall not be wasted.

I think I'm going to plan out my first game experience with a select group of people and make it a big event.

How solid is that release date? I was really getting stoked for Fallout 3 and Ghostbusters, and I got jobbed by them both . . .

Gabe himself states in the video that the release date is Nov 4th but it was brought to my attention that just below the video it states the following;

Just remember the release date is now November 18 and 21 despite what the video claims.

Where these guys get their information from I have no idea.

I'm worried about the longevity for this. It seems kinda repetitive doesn't it?

You mean like Counter-Strike?

Hell basketball is boring it you look at it from the outside.
The whole point is that every game is unique.

I think this is a very telling look at the future of Counterstrike in terms of the graphical and animation improvements. It also shows a bit of what future mappers will be able to play with in terms of dynamic environments and lots of physics.

Awesome.

It was announced in late August - most gaming sites carried the news.

Anyone notice The Scout's 'woooooo' at the end? I noticed that there was no lip-syncing in the clip. I'm assuming that is something that will be in the finished product?

That would put it after E3 2008. Sounds logical.

Looks very good, if it plays differently each time we'll have a very re-playable game for years.
