Anyone else reading the latest Discworld novel, Making Money?
I am a huge Dsicworld and Terry Pratchett fan. I've loved everything he's written until now, I think.
I'm about halfway through the book and I'm not really liking it. Maybe I'll change my mind by the end, but I don't know if I just don't like the main character, Moist von Lipwig or what.
It has a lot of the discworld characters, but it doesn't really feel like a Discworld novel.
It seems like the Discworld is becoming too modern or too much like Roundworld (our world).
I'd also be laughing my ass off by now, but I really haven't laughed or found anything all that humorous.
Anyone else reading it have any thoughts?
