Hi everyone, I was wondering if there are any tutorials out there that show how to make good maps (like atlas-style and RPG)? I tried google but all I got was image map tutorials, GIS mumbo jumbo and some Bryce3D stuff :\
 
I am, lol...I draw tons of maps pen and paper-style, but what I'm wondering is like, how to make realistic forest, mountain and desert-style looks in Photoshop. I guess it would have to do with textures and stuff, but I'm a newbie to Photoshop
 
try some actual RPG sites... i'm positive there are programs for map making out there, i just can't recall them atm.
