Maybe something that will complement egg rolls if possible because I'll also be making some egg rolls.

Hmm egg rolls eh? I don't know.

All I use on my wings is Frank's Red Hot cayenne pepper sauce. No butter or anything else. I recenty tried Frank's Hot Wing Sauce or somesuch but I'm not crazy about it. Red Hot all the way.

I have to agree with using Frank's Red Hot Sauce. Don't forget to serve bleu cheese or ranch dipping sauce on the side. :)

My girlfriend makes the best hotwings ever! She first marinates the wings in a mixture of Franks hot sauce, Cajun seasoning, and crushed red pepper flakes. She then bakes them for 45 minutes in the oven, then gives them a final bath in hot sauce before serving them on a plate of greens.

Hooters brand is good, but we like Frank's hotsause. It's hot, but not painful hot, and has a very intense flavor.

My own home made hotsauce:

a few pounds of chicken wings
one stick of real-unsalted butter.
one bottle of Franks RedHot Sauce
one Pinch of crushed sage leaves, dried or fresh
a few big squirts of fresh lemon juice
one package of italian dressing mix

preheat over to 300F
combind all ingredients together over medium heat until well blended.

deepfry wings/legs until cooked and and golden brown
put cooked wings into big pan and slather generously with hot sauce until covered.
cook all wings and drench with hot sauce and put in oven for them to "dry out"*

*if you dont do this for at least 30min. the wings will be to greasy.

This has a great kick too it but it is not too hot to eat quite a few at the same time.

If you are having them with egg rolls you may wanna add a bit of soy sauce or chili pepper sauce to them along with a bit of honey!

enjoy.

BW'3 Spicy garlic! I'll be having some of those tonight.

Maybe some red pepper and teriaki (sp?) would go well with your egg rolls...

As I said above I picked some up recently but I wasn't crazy about it. It was Frank's wing sauce, but I just prefer the Red Hot for my wings.

these aren't hot wings but are awesome nonetheless:

1/4 cup soy sauce
little olive oil
3 tblspns brown sugar
lots of garlic (fresh or powder)

Mix the above well. Bake wings at 400 F for 45 minutes flipping once. Don't baste the wings until about 10 minutes before they are done b/c the soy sauce and sugar burns.

Trust me on this...these things are like crack!
