Making home theater out of bedroom

Well I've started, I am finally designing a home theater. I have been wanting to do this for a long time. Well after searching the house for a suitable room, the best place I could find was my bedroom. (an important thing to remember here is that this room has not been altered in any way except of the shades since we moved to this house, 7 years ago). After spackling all the holes they left in the walls, sanding down the trim, planning where everything would go, ordering a new carpet and bed (the old one was about to break down, and it was too big for the design anyway), and finding people to order new light blocking shades from (they aren't in yet), well, it's been tough. Here is what has been accomplished so far. Oh yeah almost forgot to mention, It took a day to get the 100lb tv, queen sized bed, 150lb wood dresser, and all the other small things out. Well, you didn't click on this link to hear me drone on about how much work I've been doing, you want pics! Here they are. I'll be sure to keep you updated.

New grey wall
Difference between old wall color and new wall color
Close up of different colors
ATOT WALL ART!!!!
Corner of room

EDIT: forgot to mention all the work it took to find the supplies, like the paint color, the rollers, the brushes, sandpaper, spackling, and other stuff. And there is no carpet protection because the old carpet will be thrown away anyway, no point to protect it.

EDIT2: Okay, I know you are all interested in what speakers, and what TV, and so on. Here is what will be going in as the front channels. (possibly, might get the model above this one)link.

UPDATE: Well the wall painting is finished now, here are some pics of the room.

Now to start working on the doors and trim.

Okay I edited in the front speakers. I won't say anything else as of yet (even though I do have all the speakers and their positions planned out), because it's still sortof in the air.

What's wrong with the living room? Seems pretty weird having your "home theatre" in the bedroom. Do you have another TV in the living room?

You haven't seen my living room. It looks sorta like this

-- halfwall-

-----
--------------------

and then of course a full wall down the right side. It wouldn't excactly work for a home theater.

Hey, I'm doing something similar!

Some time ago we finished (on our own) the basement and one section is a 14ft by 34ft room, I'm going to be moving my room into there and putting in a pair of Klipsch RF7's driven by an Onkyo TX DS838 and a 50-55" Mitsubishi screen with my bed and such. I'm getting the blinds tomorrow and have some large car posters on order, will post more about it when it's all setup! :D

By the way, your's is looking great so far! I have to cover up the corners a little in mine because since it was the first room we did the craftsmanship isn't the best... I'm more than happy with it though!

I know, it's just terrible isn't it :(

I'm going to try putting on a fourth coat in the morning when it dries. Now I can't see the A, I can see a splotch that was the bottom of the T, I can see the bottom half of the O, and another splotch for the T.

Is this your own HT Crescent13?

I'm so

You're 14? Is that right?

I thought you were perfectly happy with your x-530s?

You just recently thought you might upgrade your speakers for $400?

:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

So let me get this straight.. your home theater so far consists of removing your furniture and painting the room gray?

Me thinks that "Home Theater" has now officially reached the WAY OVERUSED point now
