Ive never done anything else other than webpages and stuff , but i wanted to try and learn a programming language.
Basically i want to learn a language that will allow me to make little apps for temp and fan monitoring of my system.
Not because i need that that much , just as a project.
Could anyone offer any advice on which language would suit this best ?
Also is linux better suited to learning a programming language or windows ?
