Making Divx work on Windows XP x 64

I have installed windows xp x64 on my new comp. I have not been able to run Divx player on my new system. I am getting error messages about divx player not being configured correctly.

Does any one have an experience with making divx work on winxp x64 or any solution to this problem.

Try using another Player. I'm pretty sure WinAMP worked with the DivX CODEC installed. VideoLAN probably works as well. Been awhile since I've use XP64, but I know I watched Videos with various CODECs.

Windows Media Player 11 with divx codec worked fine for me
