I would like to start making my own cables but am not sure where is a good place to get a crimper, striper, connectors, and a spool of cable.

Can anybody help me out?

They are not the bargin basement type, you pay a litle more but they hold your hand over the phone if you are uncertain about your needs. They will also mail you their catalog forever.

check out cyberguys
www.cyberguys.com
They sell all kinds of tools, crimpers, cable, etc. Fair pricing too.
Look under the tools section, they have a crimper/Stripper for 13.95

getting a cheap crimper makes it difficult. however, with some practice, it'll be a breeze and you'll be able to use any crimper to do the job... i got a 13 buck one and it's fantastic
