Making an instruction sheet to connect to my wireless network

I have a netgear router with a wireless network at my restaurant. Sometimes when people turn on their computers they have to go to the list of detected networks and click "connect."

My question is this: What is the fastest and easiest way to get to the screen that shows the list of detected networks?

I went to control panel and clicked on a bunch of different things and eventually found it but I'm wondering if there's some kind of short-cut or a more straight forward way to get to it so I can write the instructions down for customers.

1. Click the wireless icon in system tray.
2. Click the "Vew Wireless Networks" button.

That's the quickest route I could find.

Sounds good, but I assumed not everyone would have that wireless icon. Do most people usually have it?
