Making an e-commerce site...

I'm making an e-commerce website, but I've never made one before. I know ASP and databases pretty well, but can you guys point me to any sites that might give me some pointers on credit card transactions, etc...?

Have u tried OSCommerce?

It's PHP+MySQL and the best thing about it is that it's free!

I believe Miva Merchant is one of the better services out there for e-commerce. You should find a webhost that supports e-commerce sites so it's simpler for you to start out. In turn, you can just modify the mivascript a bit to suit your needs. I think it's a GUI setup.
