Has anyone used a "Cable Pack" connected to their box top (like New York Time Warner DTV - Digital Cable) to allow the computer to change channels to record shows?

I recalled this article and am in this process of setting up a multimedia system at home. <a href="http://www.tomshardware.com/network/02q2/020423/index.html">

SnapStream PVS is the software package involved. It's software instructs the cable pack to change to the desired time and to record. It's uses something like Guide + from the ATI AIW cards.

In the end I want the computer and cable box on and have the shows I want recorded. I would like to see how all the DTV channels will all show properly in the Program and Scehduling application. If anyone has any experience with this let me know.

Thanks in advance,
