making a T1 Crossover cable

Hi I made a few for someone I'm positive I made it correctly and even tested the cables many times on a cable tester.

Basically I switched pins 12 and 45. I used all 8 pins to make it look clean, would this affect it? Or leaving pins 3678 unused a must?

Thanks

Only pins 1, 2, 4, and 5 are used. None of the other wires matter. Usually, they're left in for stability, though.

I'll usually pin one side out for "B" type, and then just swap the Orange-white, orange, blue, and blue-white wires.
