I'm trying to make a separate wireless network in my household (aside from our phoneline network) but I really have no idea what I'm doing. I bought a D-LINK 514 wireless router, and connected it to an ethernet port in my Ehterfast Cable/DSL Router (Linksys). Well, that didn't work. It made sense to me
I thought that the wireless router would act as any computer would and just split up the connection into new DHCP accounts... I guess I'm just swinging at nothing here, but would a double-router connection be possible? If so, please tell me how to set up my wireless / etherfast router (s) so this thing can get rolling.
