Making a Picture DVD

whats the best basic program, i'm doing this as a favor for my aunt. just need basic stuff like adding text to the pics and adding some mp3s. need to have better resolution that windows movie maker (at least my past experiences with it)

i don't understand what you're trying to do. you want to make a movie out of pictures?

my uncle has done such things with powerpoint.

and as much as i hate to say this because it means useing a Mac, iPhoto is prob the easiest way to do it

i photo can export a slideshow right into finialcut where you can do any other DVD stuff you want and burn teh DVD fro mthere

DVDSanta!!!!! Please try this program. Not only is it very easy, it pans the photos. This feature must be scene to understand how cool it is. Other programs can do this, but you have to manually do it for each photo.

For movies and most simple things, Macs pwn Windows

"memories on tv" i've used before. has that "panning" feature mentioned above. works pretty well.
