Making $75 for a 1hour interview about alcohol!

My buddies called me about a beer company doing some research for marketing purposes in houston. I called the company and they scheduled me to come in. On the phone they asked me a bunch of questions about beer, my likes and dislikes about them. Spent 10 minutes on the phone with em and they scheduled a day this week for me to come in for a 1hour interview. They're handing out $75 for participating! I thought that was pretty cool. Maybe they'll be giving me beer samples to try and to give my opinion.

BTW, this is going on in the Houston area and is open to men only. Go figure. I tried to get my girlfriend to sign up but they turned her down since they want men only. That could have been gas for 2 and half weeks! Oh well

I got $50 and a Hocky Puck once to join in a discussion about the viability of bringing a Hockey Team to the San Jose area about a year or so before they decided to start the Sharks Franchise there.

The letter they sent me says we'll be in a constructive discussion group. I'm gonna assume they want to research the Houston market for perhaps a marketing campaign or to introduce a new product.
