I remember reading a while back in a magazine about one of the NASCAR drivers being a huge gamer and having a T1 or T3 connection at his house along with 6 computers. Anyone have any stories to share as far as gaming with the rich and famous goes?
 
That's what the racer played, EQ. I'm trying to remember other famous athletes that I've read about gaming. I sort of know Fernando Vina and he doesn't play MMORPGs but we talked a little about how he plays regular video games.

You're probably thinking about Dale Earnhardt, Jr. He plays online and that's where he discovered his current Busch series driver, Martin Truex.

Martin would put the spank down on him and Dale hired him to drive for him.

Martin's making major money now. 😀
 
My wife plays The SIMS Online. Someone she's "friends" with claims to John Rzeznik, lead singer of the Goo Goo Dolls and another claims to be Travis Fimmel, a model from Australia. Both are full of it if you ask me. But she has played with Jack Osborne on TSO. The were on as a promo for the game. 😀
