Makers Mark

I just had a glass of Makers Mark. It seems a bit smoother than Gentleman Jack. Too bad I don't have any to do a side by side comparison.

Which do you prefer?

Thanks, vi_edit.. I'm trying to expand my horizons as far as whiskey goes. I've been drinking Jack for years, and I finally realized there are better whiskeys out there.

makers is definitely better than gentleman jack

try knob creek for something even better in the same price range

and if you like knob creek, and feel like splurging - try bookers and bakers - even more premium brands like knob creek

My brother-in-law is Scottish so I've taken to calling Scotch, whiskey. I reccomend you try a couple of good Scotches as well as American whiskeys.

Glenlivet, Glenfittich to name a good couple to start...
