I made this wine from a recipe published in "The Whole Earth Catalog" in the 1970s. It was easy and kind of fun since you make it yourself. It's no Chateau Margaux, but it's fun and drinkable.
A one gallon glass jug is used for a fermentation vessel. A decent quality balloon is placed over the bottle as a fermentation lock. I used frozen grape juice concentrate, water, sugar and yeast. Wait four to six weeks. The balloon will deflate meaning that fermentation has ceased. Siphon off the wine taking care not to disturb the yeast. Chill and drink.
