buy the wood, buy the tools, download or make the plans, and build yourself the furniture. you can get furniture that you build at about 1/3 or less of the price of that furniture retail. this is good advice, learn how to do woodworking. think about it, if u spent about half the time you spend looking at porn, then you could furnish your entire house with good furniture for CHEAP! you need to learn woodworking. besides, it gets you the chicks, so you wont have to kill kittens!

Well, having taken woodworking and having an uncle who has a shop set up in his basement, i'm surprised i'm not dead yet trying to create my own furniture. I had a nice solid piece of red oak shoot back at me from a table saw after I set the blade too high and kinda shoved it in without paying attention. Believe me....with the table saw at about waist level...that hurt.

Then almost sawing my finger off in a band saw after trying to force it into a curve it wouldn't make....
Oh and fun with planars in school. Almost got the sleeve then arm caught it that thing....i was prying the guard back to see what the blade looked like. Except planars don't cut...they just kinda chew...if the arm got in there, i'd be killing kittens with the non-writing hand.

Numerous cuts with the belt sander...kinda realized that finger wasn't part of the piece until it started hurting.
 
get better skills! this is something you have to work towards!

and besides, when you're leaning over a girl, teaching her how to play pool (both of you already know), on your hand built pool table with extra butt exposing goodness, then you will think to yourself, "Damn, im glad i listened to Walleye!".

But when I pick up my furniture at the yard sale that leaves me more time and money for said girl. I done hittin' it for the second time before you are done talkin' about how much time and effort you put into building said pool table.
 
well, i thought of a way to insult you, but the argument would have been reversed immediately and hit me even harder. so, me +1, you +2.

it's not about quantity, but quality, and since i got a great pool table there, and i got a great girl bending over it, and plenty of drinks on hand... it's good, trust me. me +1, so final tally = me 2, you 2. 😛
