Nifty i guess... but for $80, i could probably pick up a similar capable mp3 player, and it would be smaller.

Neat, but the one they made only had 16MB, is fairly close to the size of an iPod, and if it costs $80 then thats not a very good deal. Doesn't mean its any less cool, its just don't think you'd be saving yourself any money by doing this.

I am sure that it doesn't cost 80 dollars. It accepts compact flash so you can get your own size. But it is uniqe. Only if it wasn't that complicated.

Well i only said $80 because for that amount of money, you could buy one... if it's more, then it's definitely absurd. But its's proably only 20-30.

99 dollars and u get ipod shuffle 512mb at the size of a pack of gum, far far smaller..plus software and such. i guess its geeky interesting, but at this point its a waste of time.

I posted that the board costed 8.83.
Other acessories will probably bring it to 15 without battery.
