I took this job but I am completely swamped right now so I thought I'd give someone here a chance to make some extra money.
I have a client who wants me to redo their shopping cart. I showed them osCommerce and a few others but they actually want something simpler. I am currently using the ClickTech shopping cart. They have very specific layouts they want for each section which is gets complicated with some of the existing shopping cart packages I've seen.
Data is in an Access Database (over 1000 part numbers), I'm currently using session variables to store cart contents (done in ASP). I'm wondering if database sessions would be better.
Their customer have complained about having to create a username and password so we've decided to eliminate that completely. They want stuff in the cart, hit checkout, enter info, hit send, confirmation emails to them and customer, order done.
They process credit cards manually (current site is obviously SSL enabled and CC info is encrypted in DB as well)
