"Make profile available to other users" <- bad way of putting it

Almost all Junior Members have this turned off and I think it's because they misunderstand it and think &quot;hey, no way others are going to get access and modify my profile&quot;. I thought of it this way when I entered the board as well (English isn't my primary language), and I think it should be changed to something like &quot;Allow other users to view your profile information&quot; maybe.

Prod^ - I agree, I have often thought the same thing when reading that particular option. It's a bit vague.
