Make my typematic rate quicker?

Hey all,

Weird problem... I have a Dell Precision 530, and I just got a KVM for it. The KVM is AWESOME, but I've noticed that it changed my typematic repeat delay ever so slightly. I'm a 3D animator, so I may sit literally for hours just selecting points with the Shift and CTRL keys... If I am selecting 50 points, and I try to deselect one by CTRL-clicking it, I may end up deselecting all the other points and just selecting the one I tried to deselect, because it hasn't realized yet that I am holding down the CTRL key. See what I mean? I turned up the repeat rate all the way, and the repeat delay all the way down in the control panel, but, though it helps a LITTLE, it doesn't fix it. I have to hit the shift or CTRL key, hold it down a sec., and then click. That slows me down too much, and I am also a creature of habit. I can't be changing my computing habits just to accomidate this KVM. So, can you help me? Is there some way I can set the rate lower than the slider will allow? Thanks,

Ricky

No, you can't change it in this BIOS. Also, I should mention, I have tried changing the values in the registry, and it has no effect. ?? is there more than just one setting to change in the registry?
