Ultra is a waste. Just get the GTX. Do you really need the huge tube of AS5? The small tube works for MANY installs. Lastly, don't tell me your using a PSU that comes with the case...

GTX instead of Ultra, and add 2gb of ram Vista 64x. And the antec 900 doesn't come with a PSU ... So you need a PSU :p Corsair 450vx or 520hx should fit the bill, or a antec earthwatts 500w. At clubit I saw the 520hx going for 80$.

Adding a WD 10K Raptor for OS + Apps seems popular for gaming PC's. Use the Samsung for general storage (mp3's, vids, etc).

You are wasting about $300 on that video card, and WTF $16 for arctic silver? Also I have NEVER used an anti-static wrist wrap...thats probably just a waste of money also (I have built over 50 computers).

Get the GTX and put the money towards an awesome power supply and a WD raptor

Thanks for the replies couple questions:

Everyone seems to be saying Ultra 8800 is a waste of money, go for GTX..However, I posted this on Hardforum with the exact setup except a GTX instead of Ultra and everyone there said "get the Ultra" because I'm using a 24" LCD and OC'ing.

Newegg has the Ultra for $599. Only 90$ more than the GTX at $509.

I really wanna get things rolling what do you think, is the Ultra worth 90$ more? I would link that post but hardforum seems to be down.

If it's from evga and you plan on using the stepup program in 3 months, I'd say okay, otherwise, no. The 90$ doesn't weigh up to the little extra performance you get.

yep, I ordered a Corsair 520W off Buy.com 4 days ago but it's not 'shipped' status yet for some reason. I hope it gets here before neweggs parts.
