Make external monitor with x1600 the primary

Hey all, well I am trying to make my 17" external monitor attached to my laptop the primary one. But for some reason the ati control center won't allow me to. Anyone have any ideas?

nvm figured it out. You have to right click on the Desktop 1: window and choose swap displays then maintain per display mode settings

Isnt your laptop a 17" (if you have a x1600)...
