Make a Windows repair disc without a cd drive

I recently bought a netbook that of course doesnt have a cd drive. How can I make a windows repair disc without the drive?

Shouldnt there be a way to do it without buying a dvd burner. that seems like a lot of money to spend just to back up windows

I know how to make a bootable drive. Thats not the issue. Gizmodo actually has a great guide. My issue is the windows repair disc. I've tried Daemon but I don't seem to be able to use it to burn to an iso.

I feel like this would be a more common problem with netbooks.

I borked the partitions on my Asus EeePC netbook, a while back, and needed an external CD, so I could run SystemRescueCD.

Every time I go into a Goodwill, Savers, the local Senior Center Thrift Store, et cetera, I see these things sitting on the shelf.

I ended up buying a Que!Drive QPS-525 External USB2 CDRW 32X10X40X at Goodwill for (like) $12, complete with power supply and cables.

LoL! It's built like a tank, and looked like brand new.

Of course, you wouldn't want to pack this thing around, but it's great for the abode! :awe:
